SCIAC Women's Swimming & Diving Weekly Release #12

REDLANDS, Calif. - The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Women's Swimming & Diving Athletes of the Week in the twelfth week of voting and University of Redlands sophomore diver Sydney Patterson (Hilo, HI) was named the SCIAC Diver of the Week for the second straight week.

Sydney helped the University of Redlands to a 151-43 SCIAC dual-meet victory over Chapman with her effort on the diving boards. She won the 1-meter event with a score of 251.20, and then posted a score of 255.45 on the 3-meter board to win that event.  She has now won the 1-meter and 3-meter boards back-to-back weeks. 

Redlands returns to the pool this Saturday, February 5 for their final home meet of 2021-22.  They will host a tri-meet going up against Whittier College and Cal Lutheran University.
