Redlands Swimming & Diving Showcases Excellence in Classroom with CSCAA Scholar All-America Status

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced that the University of Redlands men's and women's swimming & diving teams earned Scholar All-America status for the 2019 fall semester. The Bulldogs are joined by a record 762 programs from 480 institutions and 17,685 students from the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA divisions to earn the distinction.

In order to receive this honor, teams must have a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 or higher and maintain a roster of 12 or more student-athletes.

Twenty-seven Bulldog men shined in the classroom with a combined 3.35 GPA, while 28 women showcased their talents with a 3.53 GPA. The men's team has garnered this distinction for eight consecutive semesters, as the women have done it for nine consecutive semesters.

Also, seven of the nine Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) programs were represented on the CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams.
