The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) offices recently announced its weekly awards and senior diver Sami Scarano (Boulder, CO) of the University of Redlands women's swimming & diving team secured Athlete of the Week honors for her performance last Saturday against Pomona-Pitzer Colleges and Sam Fraser University. This is Scarano's second Athlete of the Week award this season.

Scarano secured the second spot on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards, adding key points for the Bulldogs. She tallied a 201.60 score off the 1-meter and a 209.85 off the 3-meter board, just four points behind the leader. 

Redlands looks forward to hosting Chapman and Caltech for a tri-meet at the Thompson Aquatic Center at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 11.
