The University of Redlands swimming & diving team was well represented by senior Wendy McAleer (Simi Valley, CA), who saved her best for last with speedy times at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina.
She began her first appearance at the national meet on Wednesday with a time of 2:12.86 in the 200 Individual Medley. On Thursday, she uncorked the second-fastest time of her career in the 100 Fly by stopping the clock in 56.81 for 27th place. She concluded the season with a career-best time of 2:05.98 in the 200 Fly, which beat out her seed time by .29 seconds, on Friday morning. She placed 24th in her final swim.
