Tyesen helped fuel the University of Redlands Softball teams offense over the weekend during their series clinch over Occidental College (W: 5-4, L: 3-2, W: 12-2), which notched the Bulldogs their second consecutive SCIAC Regular Season Championship Title and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming SCIAC Tournament.  Gordon was huge for the Maroon and Grey going 7-for-11 at the plate, while hitting .636, with an OBP of .615 and slugging 1.000.  She also combined for a triple, two doubles, three runs scored, six RBI's, and a walk.

In the first game of the series she drove in four of the Bulldogs five runs, which included the walk-off triple in the bottom half of the seventh that propelled UR to the opening win of the three-game set.  That game she almost hit for the cycle missing out by a homerun as she collected a single, double, and a triple, all while hitting .667, with an OBP of .500 and slugging 1.667.  In Game 2 she batted .500 with another double and an RBI and then provided a huge performance in Game 3 posting a 3-for-4 effort scoring three times, driving in one, all while batting .750, slugging .750 and posting an OBP of .800.

Redlands prepares to host the upcoming SCIAC Tournament this weekend, May 6-8 at the "Field of Dreams".  They open up against Pomona-Pitzer on Friday, May 6 with gametime to be determined.
