John joins the University of Redlands Men's Water Polo Coaching Staff as an Assistant in August 2022.  He also teaches Philosophy and History at Cajon High School in San Bernardino.

A graduate of the University of Redlands in 2006 with a B.S. in Philosophy, Anderson was a four-year member of the Bulldogs Men's Water Polo team (2002-2005).  Upon graduation he coached high school water polo and swim in the San Bernardino City School District for 17 years.  

Most recently he was the coach of the Redlands Renegades (2016-17).
