Bryce Keim and Nils Plutat qualify in doubles for NCAA Div. III National Championships

NCAA Championships Qualification Release

INDIANAPOLIS – The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced the field for the 2023 NCAA Men's Tennis Division III National Championships and making the field of only 16 doubles teams was Bryce Keim (Spartanburg, S.C.) and Nils Plutat (Sauerlach, Bavaria, Germany) who come in ranked as the No. 1 doubles pair in the West Region.

Overall Keim and Plutat are 15-6 in doubles this season and they have won their last four matches with their last loss coming the first week of April. Dating back to March 24 the pair are 10-1.

Four of their six losses are to an NCAA Division II duo and three ranked doubles pairs: No. 8 Brandeis in the Northeast Region and the No. 3 Northeast pair from Bowdoin.

They have notable wins over the Northeast No. 1 Tufts, Central No. 7 Grinnell, Atlantic No. 8 Mary Washington, West No. 4 Occidental, No. 8 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, No. 11 Chapman, and No. 14 UC Santa Cruz.  This past week Plutat was selected 1st Team All-SCIAC, while Keim landed on the 2nd Team.  

The draw for the NCAA Division III National Championships will be released on May 17.
