It was announced earlier today that senior Parker Wilson (Carlsbad, CA) of the University of Redlands was tabbed the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week for his contributions during the Bulldogs' exciting win in their only match last week.

Wilson played an instrumental part in Redlands' upset of No. 9 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges on Saturday with a pair of crucial victories. He and his partner earned the team's only point in doubles with an 8-6 showing at the No. 3 slot.

While trailing, 1-4, the Maroon and Gray needed to win all remaining singles matches to pull out the upset. Wilson stepped up at the No. 2 spot by taking down his foe in a 6-3, 7-5 decision to help cap off the exciting result for the 18th-ranked Bulldogs. 

With the victory, Redlands improved to 4-1 on the season and remains undefeated in conference competition.
