REDLANDS, Calif. – It was announced this week the Division III Top 25 National Polls for the United Soccer Coaches in the second week of voting and the University of Redlands Men's Soccer team see themselves sitting at No. 23.

Along with this ranking UR also received votes (160) in the d3soccer.com Top 25 poll as well.  They are the highest ranked team within the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) polls within this ranking. 

A week after earning recognition at No. 5, the highest ranking ever under Head Coach Ralph Perez the Bulldogs see themselves drop to No. 23 after a tough 2-1 road loss to now ranked No. 20 Claremont-M-S. 

Redlands sits at 4-1, 1-1 SCIAC and have scored 18 goals, averaging 3.60 goals per game, and 18.4 shots per game, all while allowing a 0.80 goals against average.  Five different players have scored twice this season (Steve Acuña, Collin ChubbFertal, Ethan Kovach, Arian Mogharei, Quinn Richards), while Jamie Dulle leads the team with three assists. 

In goal both Seth Lawrence and Aidan McSweeny split time.  They have each allowed only two goals on the season with Lawrence collecting 11 saves to McSweeny's seven.       

The Maroon and Grey return to the pitch this evening, September 22 when they travel to take on Occidental College beginning at 7:00pm.
