Junior midfielder Nick Gundersen (Park City, UT) showcased his
offensive talents, scoring goals on each of the two shots he took
against Pomona-Pitzer Colleges as the University of Redlands

Senior forward Alex Parker (Chula Vista, CA) found the feet of
Gundersen in the sixth minute of play, putting the Bulldogs up 1-0.
Pomona-Pitzer’s Robert La Manna connected on an Andrew
Jacobson pass in the second half, evening the score 1-1. Gundersen
struck again in the 63rd minute of action to give Redlands the 2-1
lead before Andrew Stamm knocked in a goal on a corner kick
situation five minutes later to tie the score 2-2.
Pomona-Pitzer outshot the Bulldogs 20-9, but Redlands held the
upper hand in corner kick opportunities by a 15-9 margin.
With the draw, the team moves to 1-4-1 on the season and 0-0-1 in
Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC)
play. The Bulldogs face off against Caltech on Saturday at home for
