LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced the 2023 Men's Golf All-SCIAC awards this week with transfer Aaron Buck (Tualatin, OR) making the 1st Team and Joshua Fambro (Taos, N.M.) landing on the 2nd Team. This is the 28th-straight season (no All-SCIAC in 2020 due to COVID-19) the Bulldogs have had an All-SCIAC selection.

Buck is the No. 62 ranked golfer in the country according to Golfstat. He tied for 15th at SCIAC No. 1 after he shot a two-round 152 (76-76). At SCIAC No. 2 he was the Bulldogs' top finisher, taking third with a one under 139 (69-70). His 69 is the 25th lowest single round score. Then at the SCIAC Championships he shot a three-round 215 (71-71-73) as he tied for 10th.

Fambro is an All-SCIAC member for the third time in his career after making the 1st Team each of the previous two seasons and earning SCIAC Golfer of the Year in 2021.

During the conference season Fambro tied for 18th at SCIAC No. 1 when he shot a 154 (75-79). He then improved into a tie for 12th after shooting a 145 (75-70) at SCIAC No. 2. He trailed Buck by two strokes at the SCIAC Championships as he was 13th with a 217 (71-71-75).

Redlands finished third in SCIAC as a team, missing out on earning a bid into the NCAA Division III National Championships, but their 2045 seven-round total was 25 strokes better than 2022 and the program's lowest seven-round total.
