Bulldog Men's Golf and Aaron Buck finish in fifth place in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – The University of Redlands Men's Golf team completed their three-day tournament at the Winona State Warrior Invitational at The Legacy Golf Club Saturday where they finished fifth overall with a third and final round 320, putting them with a three-day total of 931.

The Bulldogs finished 24 strokes behind the tournament winner Northeastern State University (NSU) and overall they were 67 strokes over par.

On the individual side Aaron Buck (Tualatin, OR) was UR's highest finisher as he tied for fifth with a three-round total of 223 (72-71-80), seven strokes over par and eight strokes behind the event winner.

Other finishers for Redlands included Spencer Leader (Oakland, CA) who tied for 17th at 19 over par (72-83-80), Joshua Fambro (Taos, N.M.) who tied for 21st at 20 over par (75-82-79), Zane Mularski (Spokane, WA) in a tie a for 30th at 25 over (74-84-83), Jake Yim (Lake Oswego, OR) tied for 42nd at 36 over (89-82-81), Connor Tran (Gilroy, CA) in 44th at 38 over (83-89-82), and Ben Cowan (Cleveland, OH) in 48th at 55 over (92-94-85).

Redlands will be back on the links this Friday-Sunday, March 17-19 as they head to the east coast for the Jekyll Island Invitational in Jekyll Island, GA being played at Jekyll Island Golf Club.
