LAS VEGAS – The University of Redlands Men's Golf team was in first place after round one at the Winona State Warrior Invitational Thursday, but after shooting a 318 in round two, they now sit in fifth place. Despite the struggles, they are only six strokes out of third and 11 behind the tournament leaders Northeastern State University (NSU) who shot a 306 today.

The Bulldogs' 318 puts them 35 strokes over par for the tournament, one behind fourth place University of British Columbia – Okanagan, six behind third place Southwestern Oklahoma State University, nine behind second place Winona State University, and 11 behind the leaders NSU.

Despite the tough second day, Aaron Buck (Tualatin, OR) moved into the top three after sitting in a tie for fourth. He was eight strokes behind the leader yesterday, but now sits only two strokes behind two co-leaders who are three strokes under par. He is currently the only Bulldog inside the Top-10.

The Bulldogs will tee off Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. as they look to make another comeback.
