The Bulldogs took second at the SCIAC Championships last year in an event that included the University of Redlands, Chapman University, and Cal Lutheran.  Due to COVID-19, the 2020 iteration was cancelled. During the last full SCIAC Championship in 2019, La Verne claimed the team title by four shots over Redlands, notching a seven-round total of 2057. The Bulldogs finished second with 2061, while CMS was third with 2063.

At SCIAC No. 2, which was hosted by Pomona-Pitzer and Whittier College at Mountain Meadows Golf Club in Pomona, Calif. the Bulldogs took third with a two-round score of 584 (290-294).  Joshua Fambro (Taos, NM) put together his best two-day tournament on the year taking home the individual title after shooting rounds of 67-70 (137 | -7).  The 67 was a tournament and career low and he finished -2 across the final 18 holes to beat the next closest competitor by five strokes.  He now ranks No. 13 in the University of Redlands record books with the 67.

Over 36 holes he collected twelve birdies, which led the field with six coming in each round.  He was also No. 2 in Par 3 Scoring (3.00 | E), No. 2 in Par 4 Scoring (4.00 | E), and capitalized on Par 5 Scoring leading the field (4.13 | -7).
