It was announced late Tuesday that junior Cade Lawson (Lake Oswego, OR) of the University of Redlands earned a spot on the 2018 NCAA Division III PING All-West Region Team, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Lawson earns his inaugural All-Region nod after putting together a stellar season that culminated in qualification to the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships.  During the 2017-18 campaign, he posted an average score of 74.2 in 25 rounds, including a season-low of 67.  Furthermore, he posted five rounds in the 60s over the course of the season.

Lawson earned a pair of tied-for-second-place showings during the season, with his most recent one coming at the highly touted West Cup that features many of the best Division III golfers in the region.
