Redlands Men's Golf Hits the Books to Earn GCAA All-Academic Recognition

It was announced on Wednesday that the University of Redlands men's golf program was named to the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-Academic Team list and received the President's Special Recognition by obtaining a combined GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Redlands is one of eight NCAA Division III schools to earn the President's Special Recognition and the lone Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) member among the highly prestigious field of recipients.

To be recognized as a GCAA All-Academic Team, a college or university must exceed the 3.0 GPA requirement by submitting the grades for all members of the squad.

These honors add to Redlands' already-illustrious campaign that included the program's 25th conference title and a fifth-place showing at the NCAA Championships.
