Bulldog Men's Golfers Anthony Estes and John McCord Join Bobby Holden as GCAA All-Americans

It was announced on Wednesday by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) that senior Anthony Estes (San Pedro, CA) and junior John McCord (Oakland, CA) represented the University of Redlands men's golf team among the All-Americans with their selection to the Second Team. The duo joins senior Bobby Holden (Simi Valley, CA), who was already honored as a First-Team All-American immediately following the 2015 NCAA Division III Championships.

Estes capped off his impressive campaign by hauling in his inaugural All-American nod after compiling an adjusted scoring average of 74.07. Among numerous solid performances during the year, Estes highlighted his season by finishing as the top golfer for Redlands at the NCAA Championships with a tied-for-eighth-place showing that included a pair of even rounds.

McCord continued to impress during his third season with the Maroon and Gray by becoming an All-American for the second time following his Third-Team nod as a freshman. During the 2014-15 season, McCord provided an adjusted scoring average of 73.35, which included his season-low of 64 during the first round of the Coyote Classic.

Redlands' All-America trio finished the season ranked among the top 15 in the country, with Estes sitting 12th, followed by Holden at 13th, and then McCord at 14th.
