SCIAC Men's Basketball Weekly Release No. 9

REDLANDS, Calif. - The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Men's Basketball Athletes of the Week in the ninth week of voting and University of Redlands first-year guard Cameron Brown (Bakersfield, CA) was selected as the SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week for the first time this season.

Brown went off this past week pouring in 53 points in a pair of University of Redlands victories at Chapman University (27 Points) and against California Lutheran University (26 Points). He shot 68% from the field, including a 50% mark from downtown and made 15 trips to the free-throw line while adding three assists, six steals, two blocks and 17 rebounds. 

Redlands who currently holds a six-game winning streak and an unblemished record in conference returns to the court tomorrow, Wednesday, January 18 at 7:00pm when they take on No. 15 Claremont-M-S beginning at 7:00pm inside Currier Gym.
