SCIAC Men's Basketball Weekly Release No. 2

REDLANDS, Calif. - The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Men's Basketball Athletes of the Week in the second week of voting and University of Redlands sophomore forward Nathaniel Johnson (Seattle, WA) was selected as the SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week for the second straight week.     

Johnson pulled down 10 rebounds (eight on the defensive glass) to go with a steal and two blocks across 29 minutes for the University of Redlands in an 80-72 win over No. 28 University of St. Thomas (Texas). He chipped in three points and an assist on the offensive end.

Redlands returns to the court this Friday-Saturday for a pair of non-conference games against Northwest Conference opponents Willamette University and George Fox University.  Both games slated to be played at 7:00pm.
