Uni. of Redlands Coming into the Game

The Bulldogs are coming off a 75-70 road victory against the University of La Verne Wednesday night.  They currently sit 7-5, 3-2 SCIAC, which puts them in a tie for 3rd in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) standings.  They have won five of their last seven, which includes victories over La Verne, Cal Lutheran, UC Santa Cruz, Whittier, and George Fox.      

Claremont-M-S Coming into the Game

The Stags are off to one of the best starts in program history with an 11-2, 5-1 SCIAC record, currently sitting atop the SCIAC standings.  They are 7-1 at home inside Roberts Pavilion and have won nine of their last ten dating back to November 27.  They last played on Saturday, January 15 in a 75-69 road victory against Chapman University and their lone loss in conference came by the hands of Cal Lutheran, 78-65.        

Head-to-Head (Past Five Years)

Over the past five years it has been a great match-up between these two programs with Claremont-M-S holding the slight advantage 6-5.  In 2019-20 the teams met up three times with UR holding the edge 2-1, which included a 68-66 victory in the SCIAC Tournament Semi-Final.  Before that CMS had a two-game advantage 5-3.
