Earlier today, the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced its weekly award and sophomore forward Kameron Wright (Fontana, CA) garnered SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week honors.

Wright came up big on the defensive end in a 1-1 week for the Maroon and Gray. In an 83-73 victory over Occidental College, he scored 11 points and added 11 rebounds and a steal. In the next game against the University of Puget Sound, Wright came off the bench to contribute six points, eight rebounds, three blocks, and a steal.

Overall, Wright averages 8.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game.
