Four Men's Basketball Players Recognized by NABC Honors Court for Academic Success

It was announced earlier today that four men's basketball players from the University of Redlands have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court for their success in the classroom.  Junior guard Marco Kengott (San Diego, CA), senior guard Matt Calhoun (Clackamas, OR), senior forward Eric Radford (Federal Way, WA), and senior guard Robby Turk (Aurora, CO) all represent the Bulldogs among the record-setting number of student-athletes that includes 335 colleges and universities from NAIA, or NCAA Division I, II, or III.  The NABC recognized 895 academically successfully men's basketball players in 2013-14 for the most in its history.

All three of Redlands' seniors repeat as members of the Honors Court after earning the award during their junior season.

In order to qualify for this award, nominees must be junior or senior varsity players, boast a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, and have completed at least one academic year at their current institution.
