The University of Redlands men's basketball team continued its challenging slate of non-Division III opponents with a road game against NAIA's fifth-ranked Concordia University – Irvine and suffered a tough 60-107 loss to the Eagles.

The Bulldogs faced an early double-digit deficit and never recovered as Concordia jumped out to a first-half shooting performance of 51.1%, which included a 46.7% display from beyond the arc.

Redlands rebounded well with 45 total boards, including 18 on the offensive end, while Concordia recorded 46 with 17 second-chance efforts.

The Bulldogs gained a team-high 14 points from senior center Jordan Sanvictores (Redwood City, CA) to go along with eight rebounds. Senior forward Matt Dietrich (Phoenix, AZ) backed him with 12 points, while senior center Andrew Mills (Newcastle, WA) nabbed 10 rebounds.

Concordia's Peter Smith knocked down six of his eight shots from long range en route to a game-high 23 points. Three other Eagle starters supplied double-digit scoring as the bench also chipped in 37 points.
