After a slow start and a four-point halftime deficit, the
Bulldogs pulled away with a sizeable lead late in the second period
to defeat West Coast Baptist College, 71-59.
Redlands gained an impressive 23 points from sophomore forward Matt
Dietrich (Phoenix, AZ). He also provided five rebounds and five
assists. Freshman guard Stephen Call (Portola Valley, CA added 14
points off of the bench, hitting four three-pointers, while
contributing five rebounds and two blocks.
For the Eagles, Brendan Swan provided a team-leading 16 points,
with Danny Galdamez chipping in 15 points. Abram Thomas came up
with 11 points to round out the double-digit scorers.
The Bulldogs return to action on December 30 with a home game
against Chapman University at 2 p.m.
