REDLANDS, Calif. – Coming off a bye week the University of Redlands Football team (2-1) returns to action with their first Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) game of the season on the road against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) (3-1), tomorrow, Saturday, October 2 at 1:00 p.m.

The Bulldogs are coming off a tough home loss, 51-10, against Linfield University in their final non-conference game of the season. Despite the scoreline, the Bulldogs did force two fumbles (recovered one), only committed three penalties for 12 yards, senior Brandon Heinel (Redlands, Calif.) had a second half interception and they had the longest play from scrimmage, which was a 61 yard rushing touchdown by junior Myles Herrera (Yucaipa, Calif.).

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps is coming off a win at home in their non-conference match-up against Chapman University, 29-21. The Stags had a season-low 164 yards passing and time of possession (TOP) at 28:58. But, the Stags managed a season-high 5.8 yards/rush and converted 57 percent (8-14) of their third down attempts.
