Senior first baseman Jon Cavender (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) and sophomore designated hitter Max Hardman (Encinitas, CA) racked up two hits apiece, with Cavender recording a team-best two RBI.

On the mound, freshman reliever Josh Makler (Portland, OR) picked up his first collegiate win, coming out of the pen and tossing a scoreless 1.2 innings. Senior Adam Byrd (Bullhead City, AZ) wrapped up the ball game in his first relief appearance of the year, earning his inaugural save of 2012.
