The University of Redlands invites the community to the inaugural "Family Fun Night" at Bulldog basketball on February 11, which provides a fun atmosphere for experiencing college hoops. The Bulldog basketball teams will host rival Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges in an important Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) doubleheader in Currier Gym. The women tip off at 5 p.m., followed by the men's game at approximately 7 p.m.

Any adult accompanied by a child age 18 and under will receive free admission into both games. All children are automatically admitted free of charge.

In addition, halftime will feature open gym time for the kids to shoot baskets, with smaller hoops available for the younger children. All participants will receive a free Bulldog Athletics sticker.

"Family Fun Night" replaces the NCAA's Take a Kid to the Game® program, which was temporarily suspended.

"We look forward to continuing the traditions of Take a Kid to the Game Night® with our own 'Family Fun Night' in Currier Gym," said Director of Athletics Jeff Martinez. "This is a great way for the community to experience NCAA Division III basketball at its finest."
