2022 University of Redlands Volleyball Schedule

REDLANDS, Calif. – University of Redlands Head Volleyball Coach Lisa Lindberg released her 2022 schedule Wednesday, which includes a trip to the Pacific Coast Classic, the Redlands Mini-Tournament and nine home games inside Currier Gym. 

The Bulldogs look to bounce back following a tough 2021 season and they will have uphill climb this fall because they will have to replace their top three attackers, in Natalie Starlin (161), Saudya Reagor (138), and Paige Davidson (97). Redlands' front will also look different with two of their top four block leaders, Reagor (37) and Davidson (16) no longer available. 

The Maroon and Grey do return their top blocker in Kiki Stradford (53 Blocks) along with Makayla Sorenson (34 Blocks) who ranked third on the team. Other notable returners include setters Shelby Dawson and Bella Thornbury who combined to record 77.7% (487-of-627) of the teams assists. 

Back to the defensive side of the ball, the Bulldogs will have their top libero coming back, in Laural Pittman. Pittman led the team in digs with 214 despite playing fewer sets than Starlin and Davidson who both ranked two and three, respectively.

• Sul Ross St. (Sep. 2 | 15-10): Have not played the Lobos as of the 2006 season.

• La Verne (Sep. 20, Oct. 25 | 10-13): Got swept twice against the Leopards in 2021.
• Cal Lutheran (Sep. 24, Oct. 29 | 11-17): Were swept in both matches against the Regals last year.
• Claremont-M-S (Sep. 27, Oct. 11 | 31-2): Were swept in both meetings last season.
• Chapman (Sep. 30, Oct. 13 | 13-13): The Panthers won in straight sets in both match-ups in 2021.
• Caltech (Oct. 1, 15 | 11-13): Drpped six sets to the Beavers last season.  
• Pomona-Pitzer (Oct. 4, 18 | 17-10): Lost both matches in straight sets last season.
