Bulldog Volleyball Garners AVCA Team Academic Award with Scholarly Success

It was recently announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) that the University of Redlands volleyball team received the 2015-16 Team Academic Award after exceeding the minimum cumulative GPA requirement of 3.30 throughout the recent academic year.

According to the AVCA, Redlands is one of a record-breaking 764 teams that made the cut, including 140 Division III schools and four Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) volleyball programs.

This marks the Bulldogs' second-consecutive such honor, revealing a continued dedication to academic success.

Redlands volleyball looks forward to the upcoming season, which begins on Friday, September 2, and Saturday, September 3, with the Pacific Coast Classic. The Bulldogs face St. John Fisher College (NY), Rhodes College (TN), George Fox University (OR), and Northland College (WI) during the two-day event.
