TennisRecruiting.net Recruiting Rankings
REDLANDS, Calif. – TennisRecruiting.net announced their Top-25 Women's Tennis recruiting classes for Division III recently with the University of Redlands earning a spot at No. 11.
"This is an outstanding women's recruiting class for our Bulldog tennis program," Head Coach Pete Yellico explained. "This group of players brings a wide variety of talent, determination and skill sets to our program. They will ultimately bring added depth and strength to our team, especially Maegan Deng, the program's first 4-Star recruit and Rayna Sugai who comes in with a load of experience. This recruiting class will make an immediate impact in the lineup and with their passion for the sport and commitment to growth, I am excited to see how they elevate our program to new heights."
This ranking is the second highest in program history following a No. 10 selection back in 2011.
Since 2010 the Bulldogs have seen themselves in the Top-25 recruiting rankings five times, which included being at No. 10 (2011), No. 14 (2015), No. 17 (2016), No. 11 (2023), and No. 24 (2012).
This year Yellico brought in four first-years, which make up the TennisRecruiting.net Top-25 rankings. What this ranking does not include are the additional two transfers that are joining the Maroon and Grey.
The Bulldogs post the second highest ranked recruiting class in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC), six spots behind Claremont-M-S (No. 5). The only other SCIAC schools to crack the Top-25 were Caltech (No. 15) and Occidental (No. 20).
