Redlands Women’s Tennis Moves up to No. 20 in ITA Div. III National Rankings

ITA Tennis Rankings

REDLANDS, Calif. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released the new Division III National Rankings for Women's Tennis Thursday with the University of Redlands bumping up eleven spots to No. 20.

In the previous rankings, which came out on March 10 the Bulldogs sat at No. 31, but since then they have been red hot going 4-1, which includes wins over Hardin Simmons (8-1), then No. 21 Washington (MO) (7-2), Cal Lutheran (8-1), and then No. 32 Colby College (8-1).  The lone loss coming against then No. 9 Amherst (8-1).

They are the third highest ranked team within the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) trailing No. 2 Pomona-Pitzer and No. 3 Claremont-M-S.  They sit two spots ahead of Caltech (No. 22) and seventeen spots in front of Chapman (No. 37).

Over the last five matches junior Kendall Bolock (Yucaipa, CA) has led the Maroon and Grey posting a 9-1 cumulative record.  She is a perfect 5-0 in singles and 4-1 in doubles. 

Redlands returns to the courts Saturday, March 26 when they host No. 8 Middlebury beginning at 10:00am.
