Women’s Tennis Earns Spot in ITA Div. III National Polls at No. 31

ITA Division III National Rankings

REDLANDS, Calif. - It was announced Thursday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) that the University of Redlands Women's Tennis team lands among the best of the best at No. 31 amid all Division III schools.

The Maroon and Grey are off to a strong start here in 2022 currently 2-2, which includes wins over Linfield University (7-2) and Brandeis University (5-2).    

This is the highest ranking for Redlands since the 2020 season, when they were selected No. 29.  Before that they had achieved a ranking as high as No. 26 in 2019, and No. 25 in 2018.     

They are also now the fourth highest ranked team within the national polls for the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) behind No. 3 Pomona-Pitzer, No. 4 Claremont-M-S, and No. 23 Caltech.   

Junior Kendall Bolock (Yucaipa, CA) and first year Kiana Brady (Hermosa Beach, CA) lead the Bulldogs both owning a 3-1 record in singles.    

Redlands returns to the court this Saturday, March 12 looking to build some momentum against Hardin-Simmons beginning at 11:00am.    

The ITA DIII Coaches Poll is voted on by the ITA National Ranking Committee. The National Ranking Committee is made up of the four ITA Region Chairs, as well as one National Chair.
