The United Soccer Coaches recently announced that junior forward Madison Mills (San Ramon, CA) of the University of Redlands women's soccer team has been tabbed an All-West Region Third-Team member.
This All-West Region award arrives shortly after Mills' inaugural All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) nod. Following her breakout season, she finished among the top five in the conference with a team-leading six assists, including one in each of the final two games of the 2017 campaign. She also blasted two goals for a total of 10 points for the most of her three-year career thus far.
Mills helped the team get hot late in the season and advance to the SCIAC Postseason Tournament as the No. 3-seed. The Bulldogs ultimately boasted a 9-8-1 overall record and a 6-7-1 mark in conference.
