Sophomore Lauren Bay Represents Redlands Women's Soccer as All-SCIAC First-Team Member

It was announced earlier today by the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) that sophomore midfielder Lauren Bay (Oak Park, CA) of the University of Redlands women's soccer program has been named to the All-Conference First Team as an At-Large selection.

During the recent campaign, Bay started all 14 conference games as a sophomore midfielder. Equipped with a calm demeanor and excellent touch, she successfully orchestrated the offense by distributing four assists but also converted two goals of her own for the Bulldogs.

Bay's best showing came in the team's two victories over the University of La Verne, as she served up three picturesque corner kicks that were all converted into goals, two of which served as game-winners.

Overall, Bay led the team with 34 shots against conference foes, with 16 going on goal.
