Talented Trio Represents Redlands Women's Golf On All-SCIAC Teams

It was recently announced that a talented trio from the University of Redlands women's golf team received All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) honors, as voted upon by the head coaches of the member institutions.  Senior Caroline Ordian (Palm Desert, CA) was named to the First Team for the fourth-consecutive year, while first-years Annie Hay (University Place, WA) and Elise Kiya (Palo Alto, CA) received their inaugural All-Conference award with this year's Second-Team nod.

Ordian makes it a four-peat on the All-SCIAC First Team. This year, she posted a scoring average of 75.14 in seven conference rounds. Earlier this season, she captured the top spot at the SCIAC Tournament No. 2 by shooting a 149. After shooting a 78 on day one, she returned on day two with determination and focus that led to a tournament-low 71 to take home top medalist honors. Ordian completed her final SCIAC Championship Tournament in late April with a 54-hole tally of 223 to take second place.  In addition, she was one of two players to earn an eagle at the event.

Hay collects her inaugural All-Conference award during her first season donning the Maroon and Gray. She registered a conference scoring average of 86.57, with her lowest rounds coming at the SCIAC Championship with a pair of 80s.

Kiya also collects Second-Team honors in her first season as a Bulldog. Her lowest round of 77 came at the SCIAC No. 2 Tournament at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena. Kiya recorded a SCIAC-scoring average of 82.71 in seven conference rounds.
