Junior Caroline Ordian Collects CoSIDA Academic All-America Honor in Back-to-Back Years

It was announced earlier today that junior Caroline Ordian (Palm Desert, CA) of the University of Redlands women's golf program was named to the 2017 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America At-Large Second Team.  She gains her second-consecutive Academic All-America award, following last year's Third-Team nod.

With success in the classroom and on the golf course, Ordian exemplifies the ideals of a Redlands student-athlete in her third year with the nationally-ranked women's golf team.  She has gained CoSIDA Academic All-District and All-America accolades in each year of eligibility for the awards. A repeat Redlands Scholar-Athlete, Ordian also won the NCAA Individual Championship in 2016 and boasts three Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-America selections with three top-10 national individual finishes.  After beginning her career as the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Newcomer of the Year, she has been named the Athlete of the Year in each of her three seasons.
