Junior Caroline Ordian Bumps up 17 Spots in the Standings on Day Two of the NCAA Women's Golf Championships

Junior golfer Caroline Ordian (Palm Desert, CA) of the University of Redlands teed off on day two of the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships at Bay Oaks Country Club on Wednesday morning. While taking on another hot and humid day in Houston, she bettered her score by five strokes for a two-day total of 155 (80-75) to move up 17 spots on the individual leaderboard from yesterday's finish. With 36 holes remaining, Ordian sits in a tie for 20th place with four others and is 12 strokes behind the leader from Bridgewater College (VA).

Ordian started the morning off strong by shooting a birdie on the first hole. She followed that up by earning par on the next two holes.  By the end of the round, Ordian had recorded two birdies and 12 pars for an improved day-two score of 75.
