SCIAC Men's Swimming & Diving Weekly Release (No. 2) 

REDLANDS, Calif. - The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Athletes of the Week for Swimming & Diving in the second week of voting.  University of Redlands junior Lucas Walker (Mountain View, CA) was selected as the Men's Swimmer of the Week. 

Lucas led the Maroon and Grey and the field of 66 swimmers at the Bulldog Pentathlon. He clocked a total time of 4:25.23 to finish first overall, winning four of the five events. He registered a time of 51.85 in the 100-yard butterfly, notched a time of 53.69 in the 100-yard backstroke, clocked a time of 57.95 in the 100-yard breaststroke, and won the 100-yard individual medley with a time of 52.54. He also posted a time of 49.20 in the 100-yard freestyle. 

The University of Redlands Swimming & Diving team returns to the pool next month, November 6 when they host a tri-meet at 10:30am with the University of La Verne and Biola University.
