U of R Men's Tennis Gains ITA Honors with Scholarly Success

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) recently named the University of Redlands men's tennis program as a recipient of the 2016 ITA All-Academic Team Award for earning a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better.

This marks the fourth time in the last five years that the Bulldogs have garnered this distinction as a team.

In addition, four individuals were named ITA Scholar-Athletes for owning an individual GPA of 3.5 or higher during the 2015-16 academic year.  Graduate student Taylor Hunt (Seattle, WA) and junior Tom Suchodolski (Amherst, MA) each become three-time honorees, while freshmen Adrian Nilsson-Redman (Irvine, CA) and Sawyer Patterson (Burbank, CA) receive this accolade for the first time in their young careers.

On the court, the Bulldogs completed the 2016 season with an overall record of 18-7.
