Sophomore midfielder Pat Roraff (Redlands, CA) sent the University of Redlands men's soccer team home victorious after scoring the golden goal in overtime to put away Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) foe, Whittier College, on Wednesday night.

In a defensive-played battle, both teams failed to put together many offensive opportunities before Roraff tapped in the lone score of the contest in the 94th minute.

Sophomore goalkeeper Andreas Silva (San Jose, CA) collected his second complete- game shutout of the season while picking up four saves in the process.

The Maroon and Gray managed only eight total shots and two corner kicks, compared to the Poets' 13 attempts and four opportunities, respectively.

Junior midfielder Gabe Ramirez (Pasadena, CA) led the Bulldogs with two shots-on-goal.

Redlands (4-3, 2-0 SCIAC) travels to Eagle Rock on Saturday to face off against the Tigers of Occidental College in an important SCIAC match at 7 p.m.
