SCIAC Men's Golf Weekly Release No. 4

REDLANDS, Calif. - The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Golf Athletes of the Week in the fourth week of voting and University of Redlands senior Kyle Sharp (Laguna Beach, CA) was named the SCIAC Men's Golfer of the Week for the fifth time in his career.

Kyle paced the No. 25 University of Redlands Men's Golf team to a share of fifth place in a field of 16 teams at the Winona State Invitational this past week. The Bulldogs jumped seven spots following round one and finished with a 610 overall (315-295).  Sharp posted a two-day total of 151 (76-75) and placed 12th overall.    

Redlands returns to the links this weekend, March 18-20 for a three-day event in Jekyll Island, GA.  They travel with the women's team for the Jekyll Island Invitational being played at Jekyll Island Golf Club (Pine Lakes Course).
