PRESCOTT, Ariz. – The University of Redlands Men's Golf team wrapped up their fall schedule earlier this week taking 2nd in the three-day ERAU Fall Invitational, hosted by Embry Riddle University at Antelope Hills G.C.

They battled tough windy conditions during the trip posting scores of 285-293-298 (876).  They managed to fight back each day making up ground on Embry-Riddle closing the ten stroke gap, but couldn't complete the comeback as they fell by three strokes to ERAU who shot a 275-297-301 (873).

Only four teams participated in the event, with the others including Arizona Christian University (3rd - 944) and CSU-Maritime (5th – 1019).

Junior Joshua Fambro (Taos, NM) led the Maroon and Grey for the second straight tournament finishing in a tie for 2nd.  He posted a 73-70-72 (215) beating out teammate senior Kyle Sharp (Laguna Beach, CA) by a stroke who went 70-72-74 (216), which placed him 4th overall.

Senior Jared Stone (American Canyon, CA) had a solid trip posting a team low 69 in round one before going 76-74 (219) to close out the event.  He finished in 6th.  Sophomore Spencer Leader (Oakland, CA) rounded out the Top 10 opening up with a 73 before posting a 75-78 (226).  The final Bulldog to score was senior Ryan Crema who posted an 83 in rounds 1 & 2, but was able to squeeze in a 76 in between to finish in 21st (242).
