The University of Redlands Town & Gown and Bulldog Athletics are excited to invite the community to a "Chalk Talk" with Head Men's Basketball Coach Jim Ducey on Wed., Jan. 25. This family-friendly event offers an insider's look into Bulldog basketball, followed by dinner at the University Club and an exciting game against Cal Lutheran University in Currier Gym.
"We are thrilled to host this 'Chalk Talk' with someone as successful and personable as Coach Ducey," T&G Board member and Redlands Sports Information Director Rachel Roche stated. "This event promises to be fun for the entire family while sharing the excitement of Bulldog basketball with the community."
A 1978 graduate of Redlands, Ducey has coached four different Bulldog teams and has won conference titles in all four sports. Most recently, he helped the men's basketball team advance to the NCAA Tournament after capturing the 2011 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championship.

"Chalk Talk" begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner taking place at 6 p.m. in the University Club on the campus of the University of Redlands. Fans are encouraged to head over to Currier Gym between 7 and 7:15 p.m. in order to catch the starting line-ups and National Anthem prior to tip-off.
Ticket prices for the event are $15 for Town & Gown members and $17 for non-members. This includes dinner and admission to the men's basketball game.
