Four Bulldog Cross-Country Runners named All-SCIAC

REDLANDS, Calif. – With strong performances from the University of Redlands men's and women's cross country teams at the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships, four members raced their way to All-Conference honors.

For the women, senior Isabella Glenn (Seattle, WA) led the Maroon and Grey earning 1st-Team All-SCIAC recognition for the first time in her career, after receiving a 2nd-Team nod in 2019, while Alexis Wallace (Orangevale, CA) and Chloe Bullock (Hood River, OR) were named to the 2nd Team, both firsts for them in their careers.  On the men's side, senior Tucker Cargile (Denver, CO) continued with his dominance earning 1st Team All-SCIAC recognition for the third time during his tenure at the University of Redlands.

Glenn raced to an 8th place finish with a time of 22:21.00, which came out to a 6:00 minute mile average.  She made a huge jump from 2019 where she took 17th with a time of 23:17.1.  Wallace, who is in her senior season with the Bulldogs finished 17th with a time of 22:57.8 (6:10 Mile Time).  She also improved her place from 2019 when she took 31st (24:00.7).  Bullock who is in her first season with UR impressed over the weekend taking 18th in her first SCIAC Championship posting a time of 23:05.9 (6:12 Mile Time).

Cargile stayed up with the front pack throughout the race and was able to finish 5th overall with a time of 24:46.9 (4:59 Mile Time).  He beat his time from 2019 of a 25.21.0, which during that time was good enough to place him 4th overall in the field.
