XC | Women 16th and Men 21st at UCR Highlander Invite

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The University of Redlands Men's and Women's Cross Country teams finished 21st and 16th, respectively at the UC Riverside Highlander Invitational on Saturday.

Junior Rogelio Salcido (Beaumont, CA) was the Bulldogs top male finisher, placing 125th with a time of 25:58.0 in the men's 8K. Senior Isabella Glenn (Seattle, WA) was the top female finisher for the Bulldogs, coming in 32nd in the women's 6K with a time of 21:40.8.

Men's Top-200 finishers:

The Bulldogs had an average team time of 26:22, finished with 602 points and trailed 20th place Mesa by :25 seconds for a Top-20 team finish.

Women's Top-200 finishers:

The Bulldogs had an average team time of a 22:59, totaled 386 points, and were :14 seconds off of Division I UNLV, which would have placed them inside the Top 15.

The Maroon and Grey return to competition for the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships being hosted by Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday, October 30 at 9:00 a.m.
