SCIAC Women's Water Polo Weekly Release No. 3

REDLANDS, Calif. –The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Women's Water Polo Athletes of the Week in the third week of voting and University of Redlands senior goalie Tori Zielinski (Sunnyvale, CA) was selected as the SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week for the second straight week.   

Zielinski kept the University of Redlands in a close game against Division I California State University, Fullerton as she made 11 saves against 20 shots in addition to a steal. She also made seven saves against Division II Concordia University Irvine.

Redlands returns to the pool for another tri-tournament this Saturday, February 25 inside the Thompson Aquatic Center.  The Bulldogs host Cal State Northridge at 9:00am and will then take on Westcliff University beginning at 2:30pm.
