SCIAC Women's Water Polo Weekly Release No. 2

REDLANDS, Calif. - The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Women's Water Polo Athletes of the Week in the second week of voting and University of Redlands senior attacker Hannah Long (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) was selected as the SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week for the first time this season. 

Hannah led the offense for the University of Redlands during the Lancer Joust Invite where the Bulldogs took on Biola University, California Baptist University, Fresno Pacific University, and Azusa Pacific University.  Long totaled 12 goals and five steals on the weekend.  Her 12 goals tied her for the most in the invite.  She scored four goals in a game twice coming against Biola and Fresno Pacific and then put up a pair against Cal Baptist and Azusa Pacific.  She also added four steals against Fresno Pacific. 

Redlands returns to the pool on Saturday, February 18 when they host both Cal State Fullerton (9:00am) and Concordia (CA) (3:00pm).
