United Soccer Coaches All-Region Teams

REDLANDS, Calif. – The United Soccer Coaches announced earlier today that senior midfielder Eva Vlassopoulos (Portland, Ore.) landed on the Division III All-West Region 2^nd Team.

Vlassopoulos, who was also named to the All-SCIAC 1^st-Team finds herself on an All-West Region team for the first time in her career after she led the University of Redlands Women's Soccer team to a 7-8, 6-6 SCIAC record.  On the year she posted eight goals and added an assist. Of her eight tallies two of them were game winners, coming against Whittier College and Caltech.  She also recorded double digit goals twice both times against Caltech with the last meeting seeing her add the equalizer with :03 seconds left before finding the back of the net for the golden goal in overtime.    

Vlassopoulos' eight goals ties her for the 10th most All-Time in a single season. She also reached the 20-goal mark in her career which places her 7^th All-Time in program history. She also finished with 48 career points, which places her 9^th All-Time.
