SCIAC Golf Weekly Release No. 5

REDLANDS, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Golf Athletes of the Week in the fifth week of voting and University of Redlands junior Hannah Jugar (Chula Vista, CA) was named the SCIAC Women's Golfer of the Week for the sixth time in her career. 

Jugar helped deliver No. 8 University of Redlands to a second-place finish at the Jekyll Island Invitational over the weekend. Jugar tied for third over the three rounds carding scores of 73-71-69 to finish at three-under-par. She was two shots off of second, four shots out of first, and totaled eleven birdies over the three days, five of which came in round two. 

Redlands returns to the links next weekend, March 26-27 when they host the Bulldog Spring Classic in Rancho Mirage (The S Club).
