The No. 4 University of Redlands women's golf team wrapped up the 2015 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships on Tuesday afternoon during a blustery and warm round at Oak Valley Golf Course.  While playing six and scoring four players as per conference rules, the Bulldogs won the tournament with a three-day total of 934 but more importantly captured the program's first-ever conference title with a seven-round aggregate score of 2,196.

Despite the challenging final round that saw Redlands register a 321, senior Dalton Meade (Sandy, OR) put together an impressive effort that placed her third in the individual standings with a 54-hole total of 229 (75-76-78).  On Tuesday, she signed her scorecard with a 78 after recording 10 pars and one birdie.

This marks Meade's second top-three finish at the SCIAC Championships, following last year's medalist honor.

Freshman Caroline Ordian (Palm Desert, CA) completed her inaugural, conference finale, by firing off a 78 to take fourth overall at 230 (75-76-78).  During the last 18 holes, she knocked in one birdie and earned nine pars.

Sophomore Raquel Gordon (Culver City, CA) came on strong at the SCIAC Championships and played a huge role in the Bulldogs' final push.  Over the course of the three days, she tabbed a tied-for-ninth-place score of 237 (76-78-83).

Sophomore Kari Gordon (Culver City, CA) finished in a tie for 13th overall by recording an 83 on Tuesday for a 54-hole total of 245 (80-82-83), while junior Amberlynn Dorsey (Highland, CA) sat one stroke behind her teammate for 16th place (86-77-83).  Junior McKenna Pautsch (San Clemente, CA) recovered from a tough outing on day two by earning a nine-stroke improvement with a score of 82 in her final round. With a 253 (80-91-82), she came in 23rd overall.

Redlands now awaits Monday's announcement for a possible at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Championships, which take place May 12-15 in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL.
